DebateGo Western Debate Tournament --Breaking teams and speakers will be announced in the GA at 10:00 AM EDT sharp

Hello all coaches, debaters, and parents, 

Thank you for attending the past 3 weeks of our tournament. It has been a journey for 
us all and we have been thankful for all your continued interest and support. This week
 is day 4, of the tournament, and our team is feverously preparing for the break rounds! 

Breaking teams and speakers will be announced in the GA at 10:00 AM EDT sharp this 
Friday, August 14th. This announcement will happen during our special COVID Discussion
 with Dr. Amir Mohareb, where he and other experts will discuss the COVID pandemic and 
its effect on the world. Dr. Amir Mohareb earned his MD from Johns Hopkins School of 
Medicine and completed his residency and chief residency in internal medicine at 
Yale-New Haven Hospital. He is an expert in infectious diseases at Massachusetts 
General Hospital and currently teaches medicine at Harvard Medical School. 
The other experts will be highly qualified guests from Harvard Medical School who are
 coming to lend their expertise on this matter. More information on the event can be found below.

10:05 a.m. --11:00 a.m. EDT Panel discussion 
11:00-11:30 a.m.  EDT 
Break Announcements (Open semifinals, Junior finals and International finals)
Speaker Awards (Top 10 best speakers,  Top speaker of each grade,  Top 3 international speaker)

The event will be an hour and a half long, and all break and award announcements 
will be done after the panel discussion is over. Results will be posted by 1 PM EDT 
on tabbycat the same day.

More than 60 Teams Signed up for 2020 DebateGo Western Summer Tournament

I hope everyone is excited for 2020 DebateGo Western Summer Tournament ! As we approach the competition, we are pleased to announce that more than 60 teams have signed up for the event.
